Follow this guide to setup a new Stripe account and link it to your Payminty+ app.
Prerequisites:
This guide is written on the basis that you have downloaded the Payminty+ app from the Google or Apple (iOS) app stores and have it available on your device.
This guide assumes you do not have an existing Stripe account and would like to create one
Note: Setting up and linking a Stripe account can be completed totally from the within the Payminty+ app.
1) Firstly sign in and verify your mobile number in the Payminty+ app.
2) Next you will be asked some information about your Business so Payminty+ can ensure the correct configuration for your country/location is downloaded. Please complete and then select 'Connect Stripe'
3) Then enter the email address for the NEW account you want setup.
4) Choose a password for your new account and click login.
5) Stripe will then ask you to setup two-step factor authentication for your security. Complete the required steps.
6) Next complete all the required Stripe Business Account setup steps.
7) Next you will be asked some information about the primary location of your Business so Payminty+ can ensure your payments are processed correctly. Please complete and then select 'Next'
Note: entering your primary location does not mean you are confined to that location for taking payments. The only location rule is that you must be in the same country as your Stripe account is setup in.
8) Next, is totally optional but if you would like to configure a surcharge for your device then toggle 'Enable Surcharge' to On and enter a surcharge % then select 'Next'.
9) Once all the required steps have been completed the Payminty+ home screen will display and you are ready to start taking payments from customers.
